SITE BACK UP

I’ve finally got this site back up after moving house and having terrible trouble using my new internet provider. However I’ll be updating this as often as I can (hopefully more than twice a year). Since the last entry I was in New York for tartan week which was great and have been over to Asturias a couple of times with Finlay Macdonald which was also great apart from being abandoned by EasyJet in Stanstead and having to shell out close to £1000 and a sleepless night in Heathrow to get the band back home. Still wasn’t as bad for us as for the wedding party on the way to Ibiza, also cancelled no replacement flight nobody to speak to, cheap travel? I was over at the Islay jazz festival too with a gig with Mario Caribe and Dave Berkman, also with my own Quartet with Julian Arguelles, a gig with the wonderful Gina Rae and late night funkathon with Colin Steele. I am playing at the Callandar Jazz Festival with Mario on Saturday afternoon (30th).
